The Chester Hotel - anyone stayed there?

Post by deebeeeff »

(Sorry. I know there must be a hotel thread or section here, but I couldn't find it.)

Has anyone stayed at the Chester Hotel. Reviews are mixed, to say the least, but I would love a first hand account.

Some forum members swear by the Cherry Court Hotel. Prices start around £48 per night. It's near the Victoria Mainline Station. Problem is, they only have 12 rooms, so they fill up fast. But you can reach them at (44) 20 7828 2840.

Of course, at that price don't expect much except a decent bed. I believe the toilets are shared, and I'm told that if you are a "portly" person, you might not be able to turn around in the room.

Cherry :P Off topic but... when I am in London I drink a lot of Cherry Coke. They don't make it here in Spain. I think when I'm in town the Cherry Coke sales suddenly doubles  Any other fan of Billy + Cherry Coke around ?

I usually stay at Easy Hotel Victoria, but they sell out so fast almost a month ahead.

Yes, rooms are small but they all have their own toilet.

I actually love this kind of rooms, clean bed, clean "in room" bathroom.
I prefer spending the money difference on other things. I don't care how small the room is.

Same here. All hotel rooms look the same when you're asleep.

Just to clarify, all the rooms in the Cherry Court have a toilet, sink and shower.
