Re: Ben Cook
Here is this week's "Stage Dad" column from Glenn Cook. He gives a glowing review of Tim Federle's book "Better Nate Than Ever", and talks about the warm reception Tim received when he recently taught dance classes at Metropolitan School of the Arts in the DC area, where Glenn's own kids studied dance.

Re: Ben Cook
Ben 'threw it back' with this photo. It could be any Billy, with Rich Hebert, in that shot.
This photo moves me - as though it shows the right balance in life. Rich - Billy's Dad - Ben - any Billy. The moment when an imperfect dad meets an imperfect son, and find a blissful moment of perfection. Any dad knows that those moments are rare, and fleeting; but never forgotten.
I think no 'Dad' eclipsed Rich Hebert in this role, though they are all great. But there was something about a tour that seemed to meld those individuals and those roles into perfection, as though it were all a great adventure...........Billy Elliot meets Enid Blyton, or Penelope Lively..............
Just my humble opinion.

Re: Ben Cook
I loved Rich Hebert as Dad. I can see why you might say he is your favorite Dad that you have seen.

Ben is featured in this advertisement for the Metropolitan School of the Arts. The photo is by his dad, of course.
