Elton John will team up with Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters/currently in LA's production of Rent as Greta) to write a new musical, according to this article:

This is not the first collaboration: Elton co-wrote the Scissor Sister's 2006 iconic hit: I Don't Feel Like Dancing.

Here are two videos featuring Sir Elton worth sharing: the first is his tribute to David Bowie, recorded in a concert on January 13th, 2016:

The second harks back just over two years, and tells of his lifelong involvement with the Royal Academy of Music, and his instrumental role in providing its new organ:

Re: Elton John
Sir Elton gave a free concert on Sunstrip Strip today at 3.00 p.m. EST - too late to catch it, but items are appearing on Youtube, such as this duet with Lady Gaga of 'Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me':

The concert was given to thank West Hollywood for its longtime support of his AIDS foundation, which has been in operation since 1992.
Question: If Andrew Lloyd Webber can be made a Lord, then why not Sir Elton who, in my view, is a greater talent and has contributed as much, if not more, more good to the world?
