Then, there's Chinamen, Jaffas, Chin Music, Bunnys, a Dolly, you can even Carry your Bat or do a spot of Gardening. Me, I always felt good after bowling a Maiden Over :D. Mind you there's someone else on this Forum who seems to bowl them over no problem without a ball being bowled :D - no names.

I will throw in my tuppence - apparently (so I have repeatedly assured by cricket fanatics), it is a fact that more people watch cricket, worldwide, than any other sport, including football (soccer). When you consider that India is cricket mad, the claim makes sense; it is one of the lasting legacies of the British Empire.

Having grown up immersed in baseball, as a student abroad I attempted to learn the complex rules, and how to play the game, of cricket; I was left with this analogy between cricket and baseball: Baseball is to Checkers as Cricket is to Chess.
