Sydenham High School, London

[Real Geordie]

This is a well put together and interesting video of a performance by Sydenham High School, London - not too far from Bethnal Green. Probably struggled with the accent I suspect ! It is 35 minutes long (720p available). The actual performances were in February 2020, just getting over the line before the nightmare of lockdowns began. The journey starts with mulling over whether the project was even feasible in an already crowded academic year, the trials and tribulations of rehearsals, problem solving, opening night and reflections of those taking part, both performers and backstage. There is also some footage of the performance itself. Maybe I should mention that Sydenham High School is an all girls school.
