2024 Italian Tour

Yet another new edition of Billy Elliot The Musical, A fifth Italian tour, has begun as of February 2nd and tickets are currently on sale through April 21, 2024. There was no pre publicity announcement and this production, like another recent one in Norway, does not appear on the licensing company's website (MTI).

The tour will basically be a resumption of last year's fourth tour with essentially the same cast, but in different cities. A notable cast exception is there is just one Billy and one MIchael in this year's tour cast, unlike last year when there was three of each. This is a throw back to previous versions of Italian tours (before last year) when those two principal roles were played by just one actor each.

The new tour will again be produced by Peep Arrow Productions. As has been the case for previous versions of Italian tours, additional dates/theatres may be added.

The tour is in Milan this week and staged a "flash mob" of Dream Ballet at piazza Duomo Milano. This was fun!
