Thursday matinee. Rhys with Connor Kelly and Emily Williams. Romy as Gran.

A very good Rhys show. Excellent thoughtful acting throughout and very stylistic dancing which earned him a widespread standing ovation for Electricity. Once again a very moving Letter with the emotions and lines said exactly spot on for the scene. Connor and Rhys paired well throughout and Connor was rightfully applauded off for the Winter scene.
Prior to that we had a very funny routine from George at the curtain scene. He is one of the best ad- libbers and micky takers of the audience we have had for that routine. Today for example we did not have anyone from Newcastle but one unfortunate lady did identify herself as from Sunderland. His response to this was to say that he had bought a Sunderland Advent calender last year but all the windows were boarded up! He ribbed young Rhys and saying to him 'your dying to laugh' got Rhys going. Very intuitive active from George. Also on the plus side was another excellent piece of acting from Romy. She has well and truly played herself into the role of Gran given the extra responsibility she has had to take on.
A very good Forum showing with all the Thursday regulars there to stand up for Rhys who clearly relished the attention.
