As I said in the Tracking thread for the 2nd Tour, in order to arrive at the count of 100 "official" shows for tonight, they did not include the first four "previews" in Durham in that count (as tonight is actually the 104th show in front of a paying audience). While it's not uncommon not to count previews in official show counts, I find the way they arrived at this one particularly interesting as they are calling the first few shows in each city "previews" yet those shows have counted toward the official show count. I guess the difference is that in Durham those previews were considered the official kick-off of the whole Tour.

Yes, those first performances in Durham were indeed counted as previews, with Opening Night being November 2.

Plus, wasn't Michael's last the hundredth in front of a paying audience? No reason to distract from that special night.
