Regarding a start of BETM in Japan - there was a rumour once to get it started in 2011 - now with the economical sufferings from the Tsunami etc. it would be only wise to have it postponed. But this would not be valid for the quite prosperous economy in Germany - quite a lot of musicals have a long and very successful run just at the moment - and not only in Germany's capital of musicals, Hamburg, but in different major cities as well. Kimi, I'm really, really late in sending a welcome to you too, but wanted to anyway. Years ago I met a friend from Berlin online (he lives in Karlsruhe now) who loved the original movie as much as I did. We stayed in touch online over the years and finally met in 2010. He stayed with my partner and me on Long Island and we saw Billy on Broadway together. We met through Billy years before the musical even existed, and are still great friends. I hope to eventually see the show with him in Germany one day too!
