Hello from Boston!

Post by michaelJ »

Hi everybody - I'm a newcomer to Billy Elliot the Musical. I saw the show for the first time last summer and absolutely loved it. I have "only" been to 5 shows. If I had discovered it a few years ago there's no telling how many times I would have gone by now. :D Ben Cook was Billy in 4 out of the 5 shows that I saw. What are the chances of that happening? Noah Parets is the only other Billy I have seen, and also Zack Manske playing Tall boy/posh boy. I'm hoping that the US tour is extended so I can make up for lost time

Hello again Michael. We aren't seeing any evidence of an extension at this point, but there are still a number of stops left, and quite a few of us will be in Hartford for what looks like the end of the US tour stops in June. Perhaps you can join us there.

Michael -

Schenectady is another stop on the tour in early June, and it is a three hour drive from Boston.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy it here. This is a very friendly and helpful place. If you are young and in good shape and if you start today, you could make Sacramento by bicycle. Or perhaps Bill's suggestions are better. Good to have you aboard. (I spent most of my life in the Boston area - I miss it a lot)

Welcome to the forum Michael. The official tour site does not get updated as often as it should. Here is a link to more info on the Schenectady stop in early June. I have tickets to the Wednesday-Friday shows that week. Perhaps I will see you there. :D
