Break a leg, Jeffrey! It is a lovely small regional theater with a tremendous following.porschesrule wrote:Jeffrey Pew, former Ensemble member of the tour, is opening tonight in 42nd Street at the Weston Playhouse in Weston, Vermont. Best wishes to Jeff and the rest of the cast/crew of the show.

Re: Jeffrey Pew
Awesome, two former Billy cast members there then with Susan Haefner as well. As I mentioned in Susan's thread, I saw Death of a Salesman starring Christopher Lloyd in that theatre, and it's so beautiful! Comfortable seats, lots of leg room, state-of-the-art technology, and just a gorgeous setting beside a flowing stream, waterfalls, and an old mill. I go to Weston every summer with family. They have a humongous and varied country store right there in town as well, and a really great Christmas shop too!
On the off-chance anyone goes to this or any show there, don't miss The Hatchery in nearby Ludlow for breakfast, and DJ's restaurant for dinner. DJs has a great salad bar, and they even have a collection of Broadway Playbills in one room of the restaurant, including one for a show called Billy Elliot!
Not sure yet if I can make this show, as it closes the weekend I arrive, but who knows. If not, they're staging To Kill A Mockingbird in the week following this.
