A pair of trousers missing

Hi

I saw Billy Elliot yesterday twice. I saw Mitchell the first time. Both matinee and evening performances were great.

During Expressing yourself, there used to be a pair of trousers walking in when the dresses dance. There were no trousers yesterday. Does anyone know why? and since when?

There has to be someone available who is trained to perform this role which is not as easy as it looks. On the (very) odd occasion when there isn't, the trousers don't appear. It's as simple as that.

Matthew Dale ( of the current cast) usually plays The Trousers, so he may have been having a day off.

Perhaps The Trousers were attending a fashion Press event, which was a Turn Up for the books. Or perhaps they Zipped down to the Rose and Crown for a quick Belt. The Alterations left the audience feeling Short(s) changed...............
