I wonder if Nick Jonas will reprise his London role as Marius? He played Gavroche just before the Broadway production of Les Mis closed.

The first four leads of the revival of Les Misérables have been announced: Ramin Karimloo, Will Swenson, Caissie Levy and Nikki M. James. I'm impressed so far!

Here's a rare treat. Two incredible Jean Valjeans singing together after a recent performance of the show in Toronto. Posting it in this thread since Ramin Karimloo will also play the role in the new Broadway production.

What a great video! I will have to get to NYC this summer to see it.CJ-Rochester wrote:Here's a rare treat. Les Mis is fortunate to be done by schools, too, something I dearly hope will be possible for BETM one day. I was lucky to see a very good school performance of Les Mis in West Palm Beach two winters ago that was fantastic. Here is a sample video...it links to videos of the entire show. The Gavroche is excellent!

BEAUTIFUL It gave me goose-bumps
Re: Les Mis - Returning to Broadway
Samantha hills replaced Charlotte maltby In role of Cossette before previews began. Article does not say why she left. I'm wondering myself why that happens? Seriously they didn't even give her a chance to perform in front of audience I think that wasn't fair to let someone go before it open or even previews.

Re: Les Mis - Returning to Broadway
"Les Mis" had its official opening tonight. The reviews look overwhelmingly positive, with the exception of a lukewarm nod from the NY Times. Based on these reviews I imagine the Imperial will be occupied for quite some time.

Elysa Gardner of USA Today was also a bit lukewarm with her review:
