9th Anniversary Show London
Re: 9th Anniversary Show London
HOW much EXCITEMENT can one person take?? I have nearly recovered from Redmand's final. I had a beautiful day in the English country side yesterday - so beautiful, so I am ready for the "piece of resistance" tonight. We will see many new people on stage including (perhaps) the introduction of a new Billy. To all my forum friends here in London: I enjoy so much being with you. To all our forum friends who could not be here with us, know that we carry you in our Hearts and will do our best to share as much as possible through photos and reviews.

Re: 9th Anniversary Show London
I'd like to invite my fellow not-in-London forum members from around the world to a special gathering today. We'll be haunting the Victoria Palace Theatre during the special show. So spirits, please meet me at the bar at the back of the stalls, and when the show starts, we'll just float above the stalls section. Thank you.

Re: 9th Anniversary Show London
I was right about the BETMUK website waiting until all was ready before listing all the new cast in the cast section of the site. There is now a press release out and a brief article on the website itself announcing the debuts of the new cast:

And the updated cast listing:

Would a posed group photo be in order? (Rhetorical)angelenroute wrote:That tradition is so wonderful, so might I ask, if it's not too crazy to do so, could someone quietly, nicely, legally get a photo of the bar and any signage? If not, I understand, but for those of us who've never been there to see this particular fan thank-you, I'll take anything you can show us!Billy Whiz wrote:The Victoria Palace have also invited all Forum Members to meet in the rear stalls bar before the show starts. For those new to the theatre just walk right to the rear of the main entrance room and the bar is at the very back. In previous years they have laid on cakes for us so fingers crossed that they have done the same this year.
I think there was a shot from a past occasion, so yeah, if at all possible? Thank you!

A GREAT show. Matteao is going to be fantastic. Unfortunatly he only did the first half and then took ill. Mitch did the second half. Steven was there to announce the anniversary and introduce Matteo and Ruthie who was truly outstanding as Mrs W. I am dead tired. A fuller review will follow if and when I. Wake up.

As requested Sean. As the early arriving fans entered the lobby someone handed us these special anniversary buttons. I am not sure if they were from the theatre or from a fan. Perhaps someone else knows. It was great to see so many folks wearing them, even Stephen Daldry.
In the back bar were two trays of tasty cupcakes with a sign thanking the regular patrons.
