A short magazine interview with Daniel Page and an equally short promo video. For those of you unfamiliar with the long tradition of pantomime in UK, it is quite deliberately "over the top" - so the grotesque make up is not due to cost cutting. An audience is uniquely essential for pantomime, as there is considerable banter back and forth between the stage and audience - it's part of the show. Especially in this case where the venue is a pub, and the audience would have been raucous. It will be interesting to see how it plays out on line. I have my entry ticket, will stock up on beer and wine for the occasion, and see what happens !
