Bloggers' Reactions to the show
It's time for all the "Bests" and "Worsts" of 2009. BETM Broadway made this blogger's "10 Best" list.

This person loved seeing Trent, and especially Carole Shelley.

This one saw the London show and said, "I loved this show so much I could go again tonight."

"We were then rewarded and compensated for all our disappointment from the night before. Billy Elliot! Where do I begin with the over the top adjectives? It was brilliant! It tugged at your heart and left us cheering. It was visually stunning and the energy and sheer joy pouring off the stage into the audience left us both staggering and energized. Wow is such an understatement."

Re: Blog Reactions to the show
Yet another blog review of the show, this one of the Broadway production.
The review is extremely well written and as complete a blog type review as I've ever read of the show. This guy really "gets it"

Re: Blog Reactions to the show
That is an excellent review! Apparently this guy is a freelance writer, and he is certainly a good one.

Re: Blog Reactions to the show
Thanks for the link, porschesrule! Definitely a really well-written blog. Can certainly tell that this guy's a writer!
One thing slightly confusing to me, however. The author seems to refer to more than one Billy (Dayton and Liam) in the course of his blog, but I don't believe that he specified that he saw the show more than once.
Early on in the blog entry, he writes:
"The Billy I saw, Dayton Tavares, was so phenomenal, I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing it, which is a testament to the excellence of the acting and sophistication of how the production handles its child actors."
But then later goes on to conclude:
"As far as acting, the standouts the evening I saw it were Liam Redhead as Billy (though I’m sure the other boys are amazing, as well)..."
Wonder which Billy he ended up seeing?
