I watched Rocketman yesterday and absolutely loved it. Its not always easy or comfortable watching but the central performance from Taron Egerton is quite brilliant. The relationship between Elton John and Bernie Taupin is at the heart of this film and Jamie Bell gives a wonderful, understated performance as Bernie. Highly recommended!

In other news, its reported here and elsewhere that Kate Mara and Jamie have announced the birth of their first child together.

The article linked above drew my attention to the TV series "TURN: Washington's Spies" which I wasnt really aware of previously and am now binge watching on Amazon Prime during lockdown.
