This should be a boost to Rick Riordan's career!!
He is a terrific guy. He came to my son's (who is also 14) school last year to talk about writing.

Pants look a little short, to me! I hate to say it, but he's only going to get taller -- maybe even in the 2 weeks between now and the Tonys! The jacket fits very nicely.

I would've thought that the production would dress all 3 boys the same, as they did for last year's ceremony, but maybe they are allowing them to "express themselves" and choose their own outfits this year, since they are nominees. One could easily argue, if you put in the work required for a Tony nomination, you have the right to wear whatever you want to the awards program!

Last year they were there to promote the show, so they all wore the Billy t-shirts with the tuxes as a promotional gimmick, but this year, since they are nominees, I suppose a bit more sophistication is in order.
