Long Island was the proud host this year for that event. Heard there were a few bad apples in the crowd, but none of the times I tuned in. Watching the Monday coverage on nbcsports.com was a lot of fun. And to tie this in with Kiril...

I bet Kiril would be an award-winning golfer TOO if he set about taking up golf regularly. I can already see him pirouetting down the fairways a la Julie Andrews at the beginning of The Sound Of Music. :lol:

A little rain this morning and again tonight I hear in New York...more on the way next week too. I move into my new house on Tuesday, so praying for at least so so weather!

Where's Kiril?

Does anyone know what's up with Kiril? Is he on vacation or injured? His website twittered that he was supposed to perform on Sunday, but he didn't and, in fact, he only performed once last week on Thursday.

I would guess a vacation. I don't think I've heard about him taking one since the show started.

My understanding is that he requested a vacation, though I thought it was a little later than now, in July. Maybe they scheduled him sooner than he requested.

Yes, it is his first vacation in at least a year. Well-deserved!

Thanks everyone for replying about Kiril's absense. He did perform at the Wednesday (July 1st) matinee. So he's back.
