While he was in BETM, a very young David actually said in a video interview that he would like to join the military when he was old enough. I am glad that he was able to realize that dream.

Thanks for that information, Ellen. It is even more impressive to know that David had a long-time dream that he could fulfill.

So it seems that David has switched branches of service from the Army to the Navy.

David and fellow former Broadway Billy Trent Kowalik paid a recent visit to rehearsals at Stepinac High School, site of the first production of Billy Elliot The Musical in the United States, according to this random tweet:
