Yep. Tonight is apparently considered "Opening Night," by the way, so maybe we will get a bona fide critic's review or two tomorrow.

Maybe that's why I never could find any reviews of it in the newspapers when I was there this past weekend ! And here I thought I was there for the opening . . . .

Griffin does wear his glasses on stage. I believe he might be the first Michael to do so in any of the U.S. productions.

We were there for previews, Todd. I remember the Opening having been listed as Nov. 2, but I think they moved it to tonight because of the elections. I do expect we will see some reviews tomorrow.

Thanks for clarifying about the glasses. I probably did notice them from the balcony, but then promptly forgot all about them. I think you're right about Griffin being the first Michael in an American production to wear them. He joins the illustrious company of Brad Kavanagh and Jake Pratt from London. :D

Interesting! I could not get their link from twitter to work. :? Even odder, when I went to the site by using the full address, it was like hunting for a needle in a haystack to find the review because instead of the review being under Theater, where one would logically expect it to be, it is located under Music. Go figure!

Overall, a good start, however, according to this reviewer.
