Some sad news to report:
Carina Rush, Gabe's mom, passed away yesterday after a battle with Leukemia. Several Forum members had met Carina during the time Gabe was in the show, and stayed in touch with her over the years. Deepest condolences to Gabe and everyone else who knew Carina.
Carina requested that if anyone would like to make a donation in her memory, one of the causes near and dear to her heart was
The Youth Mental Health Project. Carina was also on the board this non profit.

Our dear friend and Chair of our Board of Directors, Carina Rush, passed away last night after a long but fierce battle with Leukemia at the age of 56. She was surrounded by her husband, David, and two sons, Gabe and Jakob, whom she loved dearly. It is a devastating loss to all who knew and loved her. We are heartbroken. She was a true "Shero" and warrior who was beautiful, both inside and out. Carina was all that was good in the world; she was inspirational, kind, open-hearted, warm, smart, funny, empathetic, giving. The minute she walked into a room, you knew she was special.
