Denver dates were announced as May 11-June 5th, 2011. When tickets went on sale they were only available for May 11-May 29, 2011. Upon calling the box office manager I was told Denver still had the fourth week but was not releasing the dates until after watching demand for tickets. They were doing a marketing ploy of "Extending another week by popular demand." I put a link in the Denver tour site to their excellent online ticket sales where you can choose your own seat.

The ticket sales do seem to be a bit unpredictable. I've been looking for some good seats in Houston and it seems like everything up to Row BB is sold out for 2 seats together downstairs. With Charlotte, however, you can still get a pair of seats in the 4th row center orchestra !

Of course, that depends on how much you want to spend. 8-) For this Saturday's matinee, three friends and I got $85 seats far house left, rows F and G. For that performance, we were not able to find four in the center front for that price, but that may have been limited by the fact that one of us needed an aisle seat.

To add to the discussion, earlier in this thread, about the tour dates being confusing (and as noted wrong in some instances on the official tour website), this evening you can purchase tickets for BETM at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco for either Saturday, July 2, 2011 or Saturday, October 1, 2011 -- but ONLY for those dates via theticketnetwork.com (and various other online ticket sights as well).

Meanwhile, the Orpheum Theatre site still says that BETM "Starts September 13"

Is the ticketnetwork site in error, or did someone jump the gun and the San Francisco tour stop has indeed been moved up to this summer as the rumors have been indicating?

The rumors that we've all been hearing about San Francisco being added to the 2nd Tour schedule are true.

The San Francisco Chronicle is first out this morning with the news that the show dates will be moved up from September to June and will run a limited 12 week engagement at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco beginning with a preview on June 27 and official opening on June 28. The show will run there through September 17th.

While the article doesn't specifically say which company of the show will cover the San Francisco engagement, as tickets are currently on sale for the Toronto production through July 10, and as the current schedule for the 2nd Tour (and now only tour?) has shown a gap from the closing date in Dallas (June 19) to the opening in St. Louis (November 1), it's evident which company will be headed to San Francisco.

As the above article states, SHNSF, the producers of the Broadway series at the Orpheum and other San Francisco theaters, is expected to have a more detailed announcement later today.

Also, the Dallas stop on their website lists it running through July 3rd.

Then the Official Tour site needs to get off its b*m and correct the dates.
