Actually I did just that -- and guess what? The email came back as undeliverable at that address

I'm not sure that hotel chain would be my first choice were I looking for a place to stay in SF :p

P.S. I did find the email for the VP of Marketing & Sales for the hotel and sent her a nice email with all this info.

For those of you who like to get your tickets to BETM early, they are now on sale for the 1st Tour show at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco for October 1, 2011

As we know, things are changing with regard to San Francisco. Once we know more, we will decide where to locate it on here. But for the time being, we will keep it here in the "Where will BETM play next?" thread.

To add to the discussion which occurred earlier in 2nd National Tour thread, about the tour dates being confusing (and as noted wrong in some instances on the official tour website), this evening you can purchase tickets for BETM at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco for either Saturday, July 2, 2011 or Saturday, October 1, 2011 -- but ONLY for those dates via theticketnetwork.com.

Meanwhile, the Orpheum Theatre site still says that BETM "Starts September 13"

Is the ticketnetwork site in error, or did someone jump the gun and the San Francisco tour stop has indeed been moved up to this summer as the rumors have been indicating?

The rumors are true.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle this morning, the dates for BETM playing San Francisco have been moved up from September to June, 2011.


"Due to changes in its touring schedule, the national company of the smash Broadway hit will preview June 27 and open June 28 for a limited 12-week engagement."

The SHNSF site for ordering tickets for the show has been updated. The actual dates of the run are June 27 to September 17. Tickets go on sale on February 4th:

Toronto still has tickets on sale through July 10, so which tour do we think is going to SFO?

That narrows it down nicely. It looks like the second tour closes in Dallas on June 19th and then it is on to San Francisco.
