The tour's facebook site has a story on it that say that Lex's Billy career is ending in Cincinnati. With Lex on tonight (Tuesday) and a 5-Billy rotation, that would put his final performance on Saturday evening the 28th. There has been no formal announcement of a final performance. A kid that has done 101 performances deserves to go out in style. I'm going to be there as I've got frequent flier miles to burn. The 3 and a half star Millenium hotel in downtown Cincinnati is only a couple of blocks from the theater. I just got the hotel for $53 per night on Hotwire.com. Seats are available and front orchestra is only $75.00. I saw the tour 4 times in Rochester and it is fantastic. Lex did one of the Rochester shows and did 2 extraordinary things: 1) a street Electricity that all by itself is worth a trip to Cincinnati (If you haven't seen a street Electricity you haven't lived.) and 2) the most tears I've ever seen in a Mum's Letter. He had tears streaming down his face when Mum first arrived on the stage!!

Can you please find the post on the FB site that confirms this and give the link?

I don't know how to link anything, but it is the post near the top of the Tour Facebook page that is entitled "The 5 faces of Billy Elliot". Exerpt below:

"Cincinnati will have 5 Billys because the show is on a constant cycle. Zach Manske will be making his debut in Cincinnati as Lex Ishimoto finishes his 'Billy Elliot" run."

Although this is not a definitive announcement of a final performance, one wouldn't think that the Tour would put this story with its strong implication that Lex is finishing in Cincinnati on its facebook page if it wasn't true. I'm going to Cincinnati to see 4 shows with no assurances that this is a final performance. But I'd be upset if I didn't go and it turns out that Lex is done.

A similar story was the 3rd anniversary show in NYC. Word had leaked out that the 3 original Billys were going to be there & on stage. Nothing definite. I decided to go, spur of the moment. I saw a great show & sure enough the 3 originals did their thing. There were 400 empty seats in the theater that night. A lot of people were kicking themselves.

Okay. Thanks. That was a link posted on facebook, and the article has been linked earlier elsewhere on here under Publicity for Cincinnati. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/2012 ... NTPAGE%7Cp
