Wicked celebrates its 10th anniversary on Broadway by turning its Playbill green. This is only the third time Playbill has altered its appearance for a show, according to this Facebook post.

It is familiar territory, but the last couple lines caught my eye:

Bettie Laven also attends Wicked for the sake of seeing nuances in each new cast of the show.

"I still go back to see Wicked when there is a change in actors or just to see if the cherry picker is still functioning properly," Laven said.

So nice of BETM to provide that opportunity four times in one weekend!

This article hints at two interesting possibilities: that Stephen Daldry may direct the movie Wicked; and that One Direction's Harry Styles may be cast as Elphaba....................pass the pinch of salt, please!

Umm, it says he may be cast as Fiyero, not Elphaba.

"He's top of the Wicked team's wish list to play the romantic lead role of Fiyero,” a source told The Sun.
