The Charlotte Observer, which is Dillon's regional newspaper, has a feature about his joining the Chicago show:

Rowan County star in show

Dillon Stevens, who attended China Grove Middle School and trained at Center Stage Dance Company, has been hired to perform in "Billy Elliot" in Chicago. He plays Michael, who befriends the title character and shares the big number "Expressing Yourself." (You may recall the 2000 film or 2005 Broadway musical, where Billy is a coal miner's son who wants to dance.)

The 13-year-old Dillon, who had only 48 hours to relocate to Chicago after being given the job, has been hired to perform in an open-ended run. His production of the show is not on the national tour that'll come to Charlotte in January.

All I can say is it must be pretty luxurious backstage at the Oriental. 8-)

Is it just me, or did that video seem to end mid-sentence before it was over?

Dillon Stevens

Maybe with all the takes and re-shoots, Dillon got all pruney and his voice just stopped.

Just a theory.

Another theory .... Dillon's YouTube channel remains awesome with his Cribs episode, to his Parkour episode and all the others.

Splish-Splash joins the others in the pantheon of truly fun videos starring Dillon and lensed by various family members.

Love his videos!

The "mullet" comment inspired me to find this. Maybe Dillon should enter... 8-)

Anyone that's ever seen the show just has to love this dog's name - He's a Yorkipoo and should weigh about 4 pounds at adult weight. The name from the character in the show is priceless!
