Shrek the Musical

Shrek's coming to the west end. Was wondering if anyone managed to catch it on Broadway or in Chicago, and if so what you thought about it? Its opening on Drury Lane in May next year.
I've seen stuff on youtube, and am unsure as to whether it has much substance...

I went to see this last week and was quite pleasantly surprised, I went with quite low expectations - but it was much better than I expected!

The star of the show for me, and most others it seemed, was Nigel Harman's hilarious portrayal of the vertically challenged - 'Lord Farquaad' who got by far the biggest round of applause at the end.

I also quite liked the tap dancing rats and the subtle mickey taking out of other shows like 'Wicked', 'Lionking' and 'Les Miserables'!

A good show for kids and fans of musicals like 'Wicked' and 'Spamalot'.
