I loved this! Now I really can't wait for it to open on Broadway.

Does anyone know if the Matilda UK production has a fan base similar to BETM, complete with a user forum and tracking of which child stars performed when, etc? I did a bit of searching and found one online forum, but it wasn't much to speak of when you are accustomed to this here forum.

I don't know of one, but that doesn't mean you can't help it along. All great ventures begin small.CJ-Rochester wrote:Does anyone know if the Matilda UK production has a fan base similar to BETM, complete with a user forum and tracking of which child stars performed when, etc? Musical Talk has tweeted the following:

Re: Matilda the Musical (Stratford/West End)
I was supposed to go to Matilda on Wednesday evening, but it was cancelled due to a power cut which also stopped the earlier matinee performance just after the interval. The power was restored 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the show but by that time the perfomance had been cancelled.
Had a few pints as a result in a nearby pub and was completed surrounded by actors from various shows all of which were cancelled too inc Stomp and The Mouse Trap.
Ironically my last visit to Billy in January was also affected by a power cut as the miners decended into the ground resulting in a 15 minute delay.
Have just booked tickets for Matilda in New York for May 21st and 22nd (matinee). Of course I will vote for Billy for the Olivier Audience Award but I adore Matilda and I urge everyone to go and see it. Also be at Billy in Las Vegas 18th and 19th May, hopefully for all four shows.
Hopefully see some of you at these shows.
PS There is no Matilda Forum on a par with this Forum and no tracking of the actors, just a smaller Forum site with news bulletins and some reviews.
