Kat Hennessey has publicly posted this farewell message to several cast members leaving after tonight's show in Detroit:

"It's another sad day for saying goodbye at Billy Elliot! We lose Job Christenson, my stage love, the gorgeous ballet girl Danielle Znutas, and a temporary farewell to Jeffrey Pew. Gonna miss you all so much!!"

According to the tour website, as noted above, Jessica King (Swing) and Sydney Burtis (Ballet Girl) have joined the tour cast. They will also be joined by new Ballet Girl Natalie E. Edwards. In addition, Rebecca Marlowe, who has been a Swing, will be moving to the role of Tracey Atkinson. Rebecca is now the only remaining Ballet Girl from the original troupe of Ballet Girls when the Tour began in Durham, North Carolina on 30-Oct-2010.

Along with the above additions, the tour site no longer lists Regan Mason Haley, Genai Veal or Morgan Martin as Ballet Girls. Best wishes to them in their future endeavors as they leave the tour cast.

Mrs. Wilkinson's ballet class has been blessed with some really awesome talents in the girls who have come up through the ranks, and it's a very sad goodbye to those who have "graduated" and now moved on to new adventures. The sad goodbyes are matched by happy welcomes to the new girls, and the family of ballet girls grows larger. Wishing those who have finished in the show all the best for everything that comes next, and wishing our newest additions a very warm welcome!!! The show wouldn't have the same heart or humor without all of you, past, present and future ballet girls!!!
