One thought about naming your band 'New Freedom'... if you go to the, ah, 'feminine hygiene' aisle at the supermarket, you'll probably find a product there bearing that name. That doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't use the name, but you should be aware that you might be opening yourself *WIDE* to a certain class of jokes.

'New Freedom' is the name of the town where Colin comes from in Pennsylvania. If I wanted to call my band 'Liverpool' after where I come from and there was a feminine hygiene product of the same name, I don't think it would prevent me choosing it.

Hey Colin!!

So cool that you're starting a band. I like both names, and I actually really like Exit 36. "New Freedom" would be a very good pun because it's your hometown, as well as a kind of a "statement" that music is your freedom or whatever, but Exit 36 keeps people really guessing as to what it means...either one could work.

My question: are you still ballet dancing?
