Armand Schultz, a 1981 graduate of Niagara University playing the role of the Dad in the touring production of Billy Elliot: The Musical, will return to his alma mater on May 2, 2011, with Ryan Kasprzak, the show’s dance captain and a popular former contestant on FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance television series. The duo will attend theatre classes before holding an afternoon question-and-answer session with students during their day off from the 10-time Tony Award-winning musical, which is on tour in Toronto through Sept. 3:

I believe that was a direct quote from the article. Technically, Toronto is still a "tour," as was Chicago.

Actually, as was the case with most of the cast, most of the Ballet Girls are from the original Chicago cast. Only three are Canadian. Additionally, there are just a few Ensemble members and one lead (Kate Hennig) of the entire cast, who did not move north from Chicago.

It's the old video with Colin Bates they've just added some Canadian verbiage to. You'd think they'd at least use the new video with Dean Charles Chapman.

But at least they are putting something out there to promote the show.

The same video with a different voice over is being used on the National tour. I have seen it run for several weeks in Denver. The other one they are using is the Chicago audience reaction. I guess once they get a good video they adapt it for all sites.

They're using the new one with Dean Charles Chapman for the Broadway and London productions.

I have seen just the initial part of the Dean Charles Chapman video used for the U.S. tour as a quick visual when television stations do a promotion for a contest. It has yet to play from beginning to end though.
