There's a new backstage blog installment from 5/20 on broadway.com. Erin Whyland is hilarious and the end is by far the best.

Thanks for letting us know, musicinyourear412. Great video. Erin is great in it and the ending is priceless.

I am guessing from the context of video ... this was recorded the week of March 14.

at least it worked for me.

Thanks, Greg and Erin!!!

Playbill.com has a new interview up with Greg about how playing "Dad" has made him a better actor:

Here's a great article in which Greg credits the schools he attended in his hometown and his teachers for playing a very large part in his success. As a teacher myself, I really appreciated that he took the time to do that.

And here's an interesting tidbit:
Jbara will miss three performances of the hit July 8, 9 and 10 because the curtain conflicts with shooting for the film Remember Me. Shooting began last Thursday for the film which stars Robert Pattinson, Pierce Brosnan, Lena Olin, Emilie de Ravin, Chris Cooper and “of course, myself. I play Les Hirsch, husband of Lena Olin and stepfather to Robert Pattinson, the film is directed by Alan Coulter.”

I JUST finished watching this because last time I tried it kept stopping at some point in the last 5 minutes or so. Worked now though and that ending was hilarious. I'd be willing to bet that Santino wrote that for Erin. =) Well done Erin and Greg!!!

I can still remember a tech rehearsal where all four Billys [Tony winners David Alvarez, Trent Kowalik and Kiril Kulish, as well as understudy Batchelor] were sitting next to each other in the front row, and the tech team said, “OK, the Billys are going to rehearse flying.” Tommy was injured, so the other three rushed up to go fly and he had to stay seated. And I looked over and Tommy just quietly started to cry in his chair because he was so frustrated at being hurt. I’ve never been able to get that image out of my head.

That breaks my heart. :(
