Had the privilege of seeing the amazing Joel Hatch in the role of Jackie Elliot last night at the Imperial. Will be writing a full review of the 02/17 evening show at some point soon, but just wanted to say that Joel was - in a word - AWESOME.

Gee they're dropping like flies! We already knew Greg was leaving. I guess after 3 years in a show most actors will want to move onto something new. All the best to Joel, Carole, and Greg.

Correct me if I'm wrong (and I'm sure you will - ), but I believe that leaves just Thommie Retter and Stephen Hanna in principal roles (not including Ensemble/Ballet Girls) from the original Broadway cast. Correct?

Joel is in the cast of Come From Away, a new rock musical that explores the connection forged between a group of travelers whose planes were diverted to a small Newfoundland town on 9/11.

The musical had its premier last summer at La Jolla Playhouse, and a run at the Seattle Repertory Theatre last fall. It will play Washington, DC's Ford's Theatre this September 2-October 9, followed by a November 15-Jananuary 1, 2017, run at Toronto's Mirvish Theatre. A Broadway engagement is expected in spring 2017.
