This ad was in today's Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. I guess it's a reality that my favorite musical will be here in 6 1/2 months. :D

Last night the Rochester PBS station WXXI aired the 2008 "Finding Billy" documentary. It was great to see the three original Broadway Billys again, but shocking to realize how much they have grown since summer/fall of 2008. They looked like such babies compared to today.

As usual when a PBS station airs a rare special such as this, it is accompanied by a pledge drive. There were various gifts for pledging at each level that included some Billy-related merchandise. A $150 pledge included two tickets to the tour in December. Well I couldn't pass that up.

The trucks arrived today at the Rochester Auditorium Theatre. I counted 5 of them, but perhaps more will come later.

In a BETM webisode on the official site about life on the Tour, the link to which was posted elsewhere on the Forum, I remember them saying that, in each new city, the company is met by several "advance" trucks. Maybe that's what you saw. While I'm sure the total number of trucks is down from the number used by the previous incarnation of the tour (due to all the downsizing and set changes), the total number of trucks would definitely be more than five.
