I thought you meant you and Billy Whiz were comparing Ty's accent to the real Geordie one. Billy Whiz isn't a Geordie. 8-)

Ty, Dillon, and Marcus take a walk on the edge of the top of the CN Tower.

There are also pictures on Dillon's public fan page on Facebook. I love the last one in this set, with all three of them leaning back, over the edge of the world. :P

Watching that video made me feel quite lightheaded.

I dread to think what I would be like if I was actually out there. Now I think about it, you wouldn't get me out there :D

Ty will be joining the US Tour as one of the Tour Billys. Ty's dance school, Elite Danceworx, put out this message today via its public twitter:

"Good luck to student Ty Forhan who left us today to begin rehearsals continuing his role as Billy Elliot with the touring production. xoxo"

I saw Ty as Billy 4 times this summer in Toronto. He was utterly fantastic all 4 times. With Ty you get an excellent singing voice. You always get a flip off the piano, you get a trained ballet dancer, you get aerials in his beautiful Electricity, and you get an emotional, sensitive Billy. One great thing he does I think is unique to Ty. After giving Micheal the goodbye kiss Ty proceeds to the ladder but then stops at the edge of the stage, pauses, and then says a very heartfelt "see ya Michael," before heading down the stairs to the aisle. I've never seen any other Billy stop before saying that critical line. The other Billys just stay in motion while saying "see ya Michael". Ty hits just the right note to convey the emotions of this very sad goodbye. If you know Ty is going to be your Billy you might want to bring an extra packet of tissues. The US Tour is so lucky to have him!

Elite Danceworx, the dance schools of Billys Julian Elia and Ty Forhan, continues to do a great job of supporting their own. Here's a twitter message Re: Ty Forhan on the school's public Twitter today:

"Good luck to Ty Forhan, travelling with the Billy Elliot touring production. The show opens next week in St. Louis. Knock'em dead "Billy"!"

Hoping the theatre gods shine down on me once again so I can see ANOTHER new-to-me Billy this weekend. Since Ty did the first show last night in D.C., in theory he's on track for Saturday afternoon's show too which is when I'm going to be there. Pleeeeeeease. =)
