While this article relates mostly information we already knew, it does say this about Ty...

"He replaces Cesar Corrales, who took his final bow in the show on May 1."

So it sounds like he'll be the first of the new Toronto Billys (the other being Julian Elia) to debut. Still no firm debut date has been announced, however.

Mirvish Productions, the Canadian producer of BETM Toronto, has also tweeted this about Ty:

One interesting sentence that either has to be an error or there's something going on with scheduling that we haven't heard about:

"He will play the role in the Toronto production throughout the summer, then head to San Francisco for the United States tour in September."

Interesting...doesn't the SF stop on the US tour start at the end of June and end in Sept? Wasn't the original plan to do a sit down run in SF? Will they some how transfer this company to SF in Sept? Would that even make sense?

So many questions!
