Surely, anything that is touched or connected with Keean has to possess some forms of magic to it. What a spectacular performer and genuinely wonderful young man he is, totally approachable when with the Chicago cast, and dearly loved by all who caught his performances.
Here's hoping for his success in this venture.

Keean and young actor Zach Callison perform a scene titled "Blue Denim" as part of Lavalle Actors Workshop earlier this year. Keenan really gets to show off his acting chops in this very intense scene!

I believe this is actually a scene from the play "Blue Denim" rather than a scene called "Blue Denim." Here is information about the play:

There was also a film starring Brandon DeWilde and Carol Lynley. I actually remember this film from when it came out. Brandon DeWilde was quite a teenage heartthrob.

Keean Johnson
I did not see a thread for Keean on the board. Did I miss it?
Anyway, Keean has a new TV series coming up on the HUB channel, called SPOOKSVILLE. The HUB channel is a favorite at my house as my boys love to watch ALF with me (I used to watch it when I was kid). SPOOKSVILLE looks like something similar to the old GOOSEBUMPS show, but maybe a little more frightening.

Re: Keean Johnson
Yes, you missed it. Keean's thread is in the Chicago section, not the NY one. That is because he finished out his run as Michael in the Chicago production. I have merged your new thread into the existing one.

Re: Keean Johnson--Michael, Broadway & Chicago
I saw Keean's new show "Spooksville" this weekend and though I'm probably not in the target demographics, I thought it was quite good. It reminded me of a show called "Eerie, Indiana" from about 20 years ago, though "Spooksville" is probably a bit darker. I was very impressed with Keean and how he portrayed his character - he seemed very natural in front of the camera. I wish him all the best with the show.
Here's a new promo from the Hub network.
