BETM Celebrates 1,500,000 audience members June 22

BETM Broadway has posted that on June 22, the show will celebrate 1,500,000 audience members so far. I have no idea how they can project this accurately, but some lucky audience member will get a nice prize package, described in this link.

I'd bet the basic count is done off ticket sales and then, at that show on the 22nd, they'll do a stile count with maybe the ticket taker/checker using those manual click counters until they get to the magic number -- and that will be the lucky winner.

Congratulations Caty! Actually, once you remove fans of the Forum from the equation who have each seen the show many times, Caty was only the 500,000th audience member, but that's still a wonderful achievement!
