Here is an excellent article from the NY Times about how hard it is to compare and judge choreography in Tony-nominated musicals. Former BETM alum Ryan Steele is featured front and center in the cover photo with some his castmates from "Newsies".

Also the show will be kicked off with a number from last year's big winner "The Book of Mormon".

Hopefully you were all watching the broadcast. If not then you missed seeing Lilla Crawford making a brief appearance as Annie in the second number. I thought she looked great. :D

Even if I do say so myself, My all-time favorite "Debbie." She looked fabulous. Only wish we could have seen more of her tonight. Bless her heart!

Here is Neil Patrick Harris in the number "What If Life Were Like Theater". Broadway's newest Annie appears around the 4:05 mark.

NPH is such a great host of the Tonys. Can someone sign him to a long term contract for the job? 8-)

Hear, hear! As the Brits would say. ;)

Let's also recognize Ryan Steele, getting some air time as Specs and dance captain for the Newsies performance at the Tonys.
