Gillian Elisa - Grandma

It appears that the new alternate Grandma is Gillian Elisa whose name is now on the official cast list both outside the theatre and in the program insert issued for Adam. A Google search revealed the following links:

Welcome to Gillian. What happened to Romy? A great performer who will be sorely missed in the show - did we get a chance to thank her for all her work?

A very warm welcome to Gillian, but I'm sorry to see Romy is no longer around, even though I suspected it after not seeing her at all in my last visits.

Romy's name is still on that most recent cast list.
It looks like the three Grandmas available now are Diane (Principal) and Lucinda, Gillian as alternates.

Gillian had her first performance as Grandma last night. She was excellent. Really funny yet had the 'senile' side at the same time. Her Grandmas song was an absolute delight to watch and her interaction with Billy was very touching. We met her briefly after the show and told her how excellent we thought she was. Cant wait to see her again xxx

Spot on, Nick. We saw Gillian as Grandma for the first time at the matinee today and she did a fabulous job. No sign of a Welsh accent but every sign of a wonderful Welsh singing voice.

Had no idea it was Gillian's debut as Grandma on Monday! She was great and did indeed get across the senile side of Grandma, and was very amusing! Lovely to see lots of encouragement from the younger cast, especially in Grandma's part in the finale where Scott gave a large "
COME ON GILLIAN!!"

If Ann Emery has retired then I wish her a long and healthy retirement.
Gillian is a brilliant Grandma but Ann will be sadly missed by everyone.
