As the adage goes though, they keep on finding amazing talent for this amazing show. You're just never disappointed and instead wowed completely by each and every new performer. Since I saw Giuseppe, Michael and Lex on the tour in Charlotte this past January, I'm excited to see some new Billys and Michaels in Philly later this month and DC next month.

I was there, the set changes are really not a big deal. The only time I noticed stage hands on the stage was before angry dance, they turned the bedroom around manually and then moved it off stage.
Ty and Ben were fantastic; I think Ben did really well for his debut, maybe a little nervous at first but got over it quickly.
Ty is so athletic, and his singing and georgie accent are both very well done.
The Fox theatre is spectacular, It is huge, I heard 4,200 seats, I would estimate about 90% full last night..

I guess they don't call it the "Fabulous Fox" for nothing!

The official Opening Night/Press Night (November 2) party is documented by Michael Zorek on his public facebook album he calls "Billy Elliot Opening Night Party in St. Louis":

In the early photos in this album the adult cast are all wearing Billy Elliot bathrobes. With all the talk about cost-cutting it's nice to see this bit of luxury. I want one.porschesrule wrote:The official Opening Night/Press Night (November 2) party is documented by Michael Zorek on his public facebook album he calls "Billy Elliot Opening Night Party in St. Louis":
