Tony, Drama Desk and Olivier Award winner Stephen Daldry will receive The Founders Award for Excellence in Directing at this year’s 81st Annual Drama League Awards, scheduled for May 15 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square, according to this article in Playbill:

Wow, I never heard this before. Always thought he was bisexual and had chosen his wife for genuine physical intimacy. Surprised to hear this, but happy for him! :)

I would say it's a rather old fashion reason to get married(old marriage of convenience). I'm more impressed they have stuck through it...now that's rare!
