Just found something that might be of interest to people who are down in London today. This takes place tonight at 11:30pm apparently and the cast of Billy Elliot are involved.

I had a great night. Such fun. So glad it seems to be an annual event now. It was so much more organized than last year, which was great.
After being awesome last year (and winning) Wicked's performance was quite underwhelming for me.
Whilst I thought Mamma Mia's performance was brilliant (I want one of those hats), I thought it should have been between Billy and Rock You.
It was lovely to see all the familiar faces from billy sitting behind us nice to catch up with a few of them from my days at the VPT. Billy did 'Never Give Up' which was the UK's 1983 entry. It was very very good.
I also thought Rock You's video was the best. Rachel's vocals were stunning as were the rest of the rock you cast.
Shame Graham Norton was 'indisposed' LOVED that Arlene Phillips (Graham's replacement) got booed as she came on, she got more and more drunk as the night went on.
The presenter was Richard Gauntlett who has hosted a few other TheatreMAD was on hilarious form as usual. He came on wearing a swine flu mask. Loved his comment about the Grease cast never seeing the theatre so full.
David Pendlebury spoke very well about TheatreMAD events and some of its inspiration, the very very rowdy and slightly drunk audience were dead silent for his speech which was great.
All in all it was a great evening and can't wait to next years, congrats to everyone involved.
