I saw the trailer for the new Benedict Cumberbatch film 1917. It lists Dean as a main member of the cast:

Re: Dean Charles Chapman
Many of us are aware of the highlights of Dean's performing career after his last show as Billy in 2011 from posts here on the Forum and elsewhere. We know about his stint as Tommen Baratheon on The Game of Thrones and most of us have at least seen the trailer (or maybe have even already seen the movie) of his current hit feature film, 1917.
But it wasn't until we began working on an update to his Billy profile for a series called "Life After Billy", with research provided by Rebecca Batchelor, that I, for one, became fully cognizant of the breadth of his performance career in the last 8+ years. He's truly been one of the busiest professional performers since his time as Billy Elliot.
But read about it for yourself: https://betm.theskykid.com/meet-billy-e ... s-chapman/

Re: Dean Charles Chapman
I'd already forgotten about his rise from Small Boy to Michael to Billy, and even already forgot he was in The King. He was, incidentally, PERFECT in The King. He played his smaller but pivotal role to perfection!porschesrule wrote:Many of us are aware of the highlights of Dean's performing career after his last show as Billy in 2011 from posts here on the Forum and elsewhere. Re: Dean Charles Chapman
My favorite memory of Dean in BETM was seeing him as Michael losing one tap shoe in Expressing Yourself . He kept right on dancing with only one shoe on, scooped up the stray shoe and tossed it off stage left without missing a beat! He always was the consummate performer.

Scroll to #56 to see Dean Charles and George MacKay on the red carpet at the Oscars:

NOTE: I've learned that depending on the format you are seeing, the numbering might differ, putting the photo at #65, for example. In any case, just scroll until you find it. There is only one photo of them in the slideshow.
