Welcome to the forum, Jason, and welcome to our world! Many choose to hide their show counts from friends and family, visit the Tour in a city and "forget" to tell family that's why they were going to that city, etc. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but personally prefer to be up front with those close to me about my love of the show and my show count. It keeps me mentally in check to have friends joke to my face about it instead of behind my back. And gives me the chance to reason with them about why I keep going back. :)

Thanks Chris and Sean!

Well, I essentially got over withholding information about the desire to see the show so many times after getting very positive feedback from friends and family, and I must say that I underestimated everyone's perception of this. They think it is great! Most responses were that they all have their performers/acts that they feel passionate about and don't see anything odd about it at all.

I do reason with them that 4 should be a given, since you HAVE to see all 4 leads at least once, and since I usually see any show at least twice, this now makes 8 shows the minimum. :D

Welcome to the forum - it`s always really nice to "meet" others who share my/our passion for this wonderful show :D ! It was very interesting to read your reviews (especially for one living in a country without BETM! :( )

Thanks for the welcome, MegaBillyFan. I am a relative latecomer to the show, having not seen either the movie or the stage performance until this past summer, but I definitely have the Billy Bug. :D Sometime in the next few years, I plan on seeing the London performance too!

Welcome aboard Jason! And thank you for sharing details of the talk back - How lucky that you were able to do it.

I do encourage you to go to London some day - it's worth the trip to see the original!
