I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I thought it would be nice to inform that during the performances on Thursday 15th and Sunday 18th (3pm and 8pm),in the boxing scene, they switched the name "Cassius Clay" to "Maguila",which didn't happen on Wednesday 14th and Friday 9th(at least these were the one I attended...) and the auddience went wild!Hahaha

Elisa
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for that info!!!!!!!!!! :D

I love that the show has gained fans and that the board has gained members from Brazil! Welcome to all of you!
That makes 5 continents that the show has been performed on!!!

South Africa is a musical country that could make Billy Elliot The Musical a show of six continents.

Very true. I have a few friends there, and I know one goes to see Musicals pretty regularily. I would imagine since South Africa is part of the Commonwealth, the show would play well there, much like it has in Canada and Australia.

South Africa would be great! Just so we keep this thread on Brazil though, a reminder that we have a whole section you/we can use to discuss this at:

I join you in hoping for more cool destinations moving forward! :D

There is a kind of photobook that was posted on a site called Issuu from one of the same photographers, I imagine, that was at the rehearsal that the videos were filmed at. There are a ton of photos arranged into a sort of book. If it were available for sale I'd consider buying it as a memento. I found it via Max Baud's twitter post: https://twitter.com/mbaud09/status/370404979124609024 .. http://issuu.com/rkrossii/docs/blacksta ... y-elliot/1

If anyone knows more about this website, I am very intrigued......a place to upload any publication? Sounds like piracy to me...but anyway.

Edit: Sorry if these were already posted...

That's brilliant!!! I'd love to own it, if they ever decide to publish it. Not holding my breath though.
