Newbie.

Post by Fozzybear27 »

Hi peeps,

I am new to the forum so I wish to say a big hello to you guys. I am a huge fan of musical theatre and I have seen many shows around the country and in the West end. I went to see BETM last Saturday afternoon.... I have no idea why I have not seen the show by now! My word I have missed out!

The performances where fantastic and the show had a real buzz about it. I think I have the Billy bug because I want to plan my next trip to see it again. Hopefully with a different Billy. :-) I am from Newcastle and its great to see a show about my beloved north east still doing strong on the big stage.

Have a goodun folks.

Craig.

Thank you for your welcoming words and I will have a good look around. One thing I did feel when I left the VP Saturday tea time was uplifted. I think this show is in my blood now. :-)

Speak with you peeps soon.

Hey Craig, great to have you hear. I think you'll enjoy it, since everyone here shares the passion for the show that you now have. It often only takes one viewing of the show (or even one listen to the cast recording, in my case) to fall in love with the story.

Welcome aboard Craig...

Usually, that's all it takes for us diehards - one show and we are hooked!

And you are from Newcastle upon Tyne as well - how cool is that?

Enjoy the show and the forum!

I had the pleasure of seeing Harris perform the role of Billy. Great performance from the lad. Reading the review posts it seems he as really grown into the part and made it his own. :-) You are right about being hooked just after seeing the show for the first time!!! Now that I have seen young Harris play the role I would love to see what the other boys bring to the part.

Again thank you for being so welcoming you guys. :-) I am so pleased to be part of this Billy community. Oh and Maria it is fab being from Newcastle but in a cruel twist of fate the VP is at the other end of the country... well only 3 hours on the train. lol.
