Here is a video of them in the Final where, I think, they finished second.

Got to Dance is on Sky1 - hence it is not associated with Britain's Got Talent.

If you scroll down to 'Live Final' on 4 March 2012, it shows that Tayluer and Elliott Came in the Top 3 (I presume that means they were tied for second place).

Scroll up to Series 1 (2010) and you will see that Matthew Koon came 5th in the Final.

Scroll down to this year (2013) and Rhys Yeomans reached the Finals, but was eliminated.

There is quite a consistent link between BETM and Got to Dance.......and Elliott seems to be a very strong performer - especially for one of his age!

I think this is the first time I have seen a full article in Spanish announcing the arrival of a new Billy/Debbie:

Todomusicales is a Catalan (Barcelona) website of an organization called Associacio Catalana d Espectadors de les Arts Esce (Catalan Association of Viewers of Arts Scene).

The website contains news from the world of live and recorded entertainment, including musicals. My elementary Catalan leads me to believe that most of this article was adapted from those already published in London. This site has printed many articles about BETM which, to my mind at least, appear to be translations or adaptations of articles found in Broadway World and other well known English language sources.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake kport. Having had the "pleasure" of meeting me in Hartford, CT, I'm sure you can understand that it's an age thing ;)

That was a tad 'schoolmasterish' of me! I hope I did not offend. Anyway, you are young.....in this heat (97 degrees in Maine!) I feel positively ancient! Even the lobsters are searching for air conditioning!

Here is another announcement, via Playbill:

The powers that be must like me .........

Post by tzwicky »

The (BETM) Powers That Be must like me (or the 300 suggestion letters I sent recently) ......... as they've added a new Billy to the rota, I'm pretty sure, just because I'm visiting for a Billython somewhat soon. And here I thought my particular mania for BETM was taken as a given. Yeah, I'm just sure they added Elliott just for my visit. Or to stop the mail.

In either case, it's just a brilliant thing to do .... all for me!!!!!!!!

On the other hand ..... no trimming from the rota, BETM Powers That Be. Don't be so cruel as to deny me the fabulousness of the other Billys. I insist on the extraordinary excellence that 5 Billys bring to the show.

Plus, I think we can all volunteer for housekeeping work of some sort to help keep costs in check with the extra head count, yes? Gimme a can of Brasso and I'll do my bit for BETM and the VPT.

Here you go, then, tzwicky! My wish list:

Seat B22 could do with some new upholstery. I am afraid my rather ample frame may have deflated its former cumfy plushness!

It is odd...but I really like the VPT as it is, in its George Formby-esque wonderfulness. It suits Billy. It reeks of soldiers seeing a show on leave in WWII (as my dad did, on leave from RAF Lavenham between daylight missions over Germany). It has a seaside end-of-pier feel to it (think Cromer or Bridlington, not Brighton). It is magical; timeless; it gives a sense of the grit of Easington; of the gym where the boxing and ballet lessons were held; the miners' social...........Climb the stairs to the nosebleed section and see the posters of Gracie Fields and Arthur Askey and other famous names that played there...names that were known to Jackie and George and Grandma......it is a museum to the Great British Music Hall. As such, it is absolutely perfect for BETM. There is not a better venue anywhere. (The Boston Opera House is a very close second.)

(A few extra loos would be a nice addition, however.............Let's not be too nostaligic!)

AND - because this is all about Elliott, I hope to see him there 'ere long!
