Congratulations to Bradley on a brilliant performance of his street Electricity during the Teaching Awards on BBC 2 this evening. It was emotional to watch. The VPT Box Office will need extra staff on duty from tomorrow morning.

"WELL DONE" Bradley a "Great Performance", of your Street Electricity, what a great advert, you are, for the show, and what a smashing smile and wave from you, for your deserved ovation.

I admit to not being a thorough fan of a "street" interpretation of "Electricity;" But Bradley's voice and expressive presentation of the musical number is unparalleled beyond anything I can remember experiencing. Utterly captivating...and good for him!

Excellent performance by Bradley ! I haven't seen nearly as many of the street versions of "Electricity" either, so it's fun to see that different interpretation from time to time. Bradley certainly pulled it off very well, and is a strong singer. Interesting how the presenter said at the end that it was an incredible performance for someone his age . . . . .how about an incredible performance for someone of any age ? !
On a side note, I wonder what building that was filmed in ? The acoustics seemed really good but it didn't look like a theatre. I love buildings like that, which seem to be nearly everywhere in England. Another one of the reasons why I love visiting there. Wish we had more classy places like that here in the U.S.

Todd - the event was held at London's Guildhall. I'm sure when it was being built in the 1400's, a major consideration was acoustics for TV broadcasts
Seriously, though, a very impressive and historic building from what I've read about it - and, yes, probably acoustics was a big consideration given the planned usage of the building. Here's more about it:
